Fr. Dominic Sternhagen

Fr. Dominic was born in Austin, TX in 1985 and attended Christ the King High School Seminary in Mission, British Columbia from 1999 to 2004. After graduating, he joined the Legionaries of Christ in Connecticut. During his twelve years of religious life,

Fr. Dominic studied and worked in Connecticut, New York, Ireland, Rome and Philadelphia. In 2015, he joined the Salt Lake City Diocese and studied at Mount Angel Seminary. In between his studies, he did pastoral work at the parishes of St. Mary’s in West Haven, Notre Dame in Price, St. Andrew’s Parish in Riverton, Christ the King in Cedar City, and St. Francis Xavier’s in Kearns. Fr. Dominic was ordained to the priesthood on August 14th, in the Cathedral of the Madeleine by Bishop Oscar Solis and was assigned as parochial vicar at the Cathedral for two years. He was named pastor of St. Ann Parish in 2022.
